You fill a form, which asks you your personal details, as well as the details of the medicines you are donating. Aid2Needy will then generate a packet number which you will have to write on the packet in which the medicines are stored. A volunteer registered with Aid2Needy who is situated nearby, will get notified about your details and medicines. He will get in touch with you shortly after you submit the form. Medicines collected by the volunteer would be dropped off to the nearest collection centre. Where concerned people will take care of you medicines and will ensure that your medicines are not misused.
NGOs are extremely vital for the success of our project. NGOs from around the country can help us by building collection centers for medicines in their area. If you run a NGO or are a part of one please contact us as soon as possible. We will be honoured by your help!
Hospitals are the backbone of our mission. Registering with us as a hospital will mean that there will be hope for every poor without medicines. Hospitals can help us by becoming a collection center or by reffering us to any underprivileged patient. We are waiting for you!
Volunteers play the major role of transporting medicines from donor to collection centers. They are the primary players in the full cycle of medicine transportation.By participating in this initiative as a volunteer you are playing the key role in the disease vs human battle for life.By taking out some time from your busy schedule, you’re in fact acting as a crucial bridge between the donor and the recipient. Medicines are crucial for life support, and so are you for this project.
Sometimes the pickup process by the volunteers can take a lot of time, either the volunteers have too many orders to complete, or their might not be any volunteers available at the time, to tackle this we are providing mini collection centres. These are simply boxes placed in your society, mall, or workplace. You can drop off your medicines here anytime and a volunteer would collect those medicines.
